WHY A PHOTO BOOTH COMPANY?

I started FotoGenic because I love pictures!

With photos you capture personal and group memories, and are left with keepsakes that will always take you back in time.


Growing up I walked around with a Polaroid camera taking pictures of everything I saw and I absolutely loved getting my photo taken! As a kid, having to wait 10 minutes for it to develop yet asking every 2 minute if it was ready was pure torture. Asking “ YA Mami?’ or “Papi, ya esta? Ve mira” Yes, I was that kid! Then after losing and maybe breaking a few cameras, my Papi got me into disposable cameras. I would drop off my camera off and have to wait days to pick them up. Talk about the anticipation I had to endure!


Which is why I love Photo Booths, you take your pictures and walk away with your photo instantly!


I’m not a photographer, but I certainly respect their creative eye, and I love capturing raw, in-the-moment, Fotogenic photos ;-)

Starting FotoGenic has been a beautiful journey because I started it from an idea to what you see today. At the time, there were only 16 photo booth companies and NONE were women owned and operated. I knew it would not be easy growing my business, but since 2014, FotoGenic has grown from one photo booth to four photo booths servicing the Twin Cities! No investor, no business class, no mentor. Just me and a dream!


 Our goal has always been the same; provide a great photo experience for our clients! To date, I have assisted with over 400 events. I pride myself in working with my clients one on one to ensure that FotoGenic is more than just a Photo Booth but an Experience they’ll love!
